Brother Charles F. Evans “Old Blue” was born on December 5, 1933 in Montgomery, TX to Thomas and Ollie Evans both preceded him in death along with two sisters, brother and daughter, Charlene Smith.

Bro. Charles Evans accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Montgomery, TX.

Bro. Charles F. Evans attended Lawson High School in Montgomery, TX. He worked for Austin Bridges Builder for 30 years.

Bro. Charles leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 37 years, Mattie Applewhite-Evans; four sons, Micheal Robertson and wife or Bryan, TX, Charles Evans Jr. (Julia) of San Antonio, TX, Chris Evans (Robin), DePaul Evans (Keshia) of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Delores Franklin (Don), Nina Gray of Dallas, TX and Patricia Williams (Kenneth) of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Lloyd Wilson; sister-in-law, Betty Applewhite both of Shreveport, LA; special grandson, Baron Moore; special goddaughter, Nancy Ortiz; special friend, Robert Neal; a host of nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
