ELAINE BOONE

Elaine Bayson Boone was born to Atwar Brinkey and Roscoe Blake on September 28, 1930, in Jefferson, TX. At an early age, she was baptized at Mission Chapel Baptist Church in Tree City, LA, and her home church was Full of Faith Christian Center, Pastor C. Ray Calhoun. She began working in School District at an early age, and continued to do so until her health failed. On June 6, 2018, Elaine Boone made her transition from earth to glory. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and two grandsons.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Carl Bayson (Jackie) and Kenneth Bayson; one daughter, Patsy Bayson (Maria) Dewberry; two grandsons, Keith Williams, Jr., and William D. Dewberry; one great-grandson; sisters, Ruth Calhoun (Francis), Ruby Jackson (Eugene), Faye Blair (Chester), and Eldora Howard; brothers, Hardis Howard, John Howard, Al Howard, and Johnny Howard; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
