FERI BROWN

Feri “Jeri” D. Brown was born to the union of William Brown Sr. and Alice Fleming-Brown on December 1, 1954 in Danville, IL. At an early age, she moved to Urbana, IL and resided with Louis and Cally Williams. She worked at the University of Illinois in food service and building services until she moved to Dallas, TX in 1980. Here she worked at Sweetheart Cup Co. and various home health care agencies which she found very rewarding. She took on the job as caregiver to many family members and friends because she never met a stranger.

Feri “Jeri” departed this life on June 18, 2018 at 12:20 PM at Parkland Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Loretta Williams of Champaign, IL and Carol Williams-Burnett of Dallas, TX; one brother, Charles Williams of Decatur, IL, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
