GEORGE WILLIAMS

George Wesley Williams, Jr. was born on November 19, 1985 in Jacksonville Florida to George Williams, Sr. who preceded him in death and Rosie Jones.  At the age of 5 George and his mom moved to Duncanville Texas.  At an early age in life, he confessed a belief in Christ and joined Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Kennedy Jones. He was a faithful Church usher throughout his childhood and loved fellowshipping with other Christians whenever he could.  He remained a member of Greater Community until his death.

He attended public schools in Duncanville, Texas where he graduated from Duncanville High School and continued his education at Jarvis Christian College.  He worked in the retail industry for the majority of his career.  During his free time, George enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family.

On Friday, April 30 of 2021, George entered into eternal rest.  He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Alyssa, and one son, Matthew Williams; mother, Rosie Jones; one sister, Betty Ann Williams; two nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed by all of them.
