ALFREDO ZAPATA ESQUIVEL, a beacon of joy and inspiration, was born on May 2, 1962, in the sun-kissed realm of Corpus Christi, Texas. He thrived on the shores of life until he departed this world on May 9, 2025, in Mesquite, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that is as rich and varied as the life he led.
To know Alfredo was to understand the essence of laughter interwoven with unwavering support. He embraced the role of a jokester with fervor, reminding those around him that laughter could illuminate even the darkest of days. His mantra, "Never say you can't do anything, you're an Esquivel, you can do it," resonated deeply, encouragement blooming from his lips like the most fragrant of flowers. A loving, caring, and hardworking soul, he was a relentless encourager through the word of God, inspiring countless hearts to rise and pursue their dreams.
Alfredo found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a devoted husband, cherishing the bond he created with his wife, Alice Esquivel. His proudest accomplishment was, without a doubt, taking care of her, ensuring her days were filled with love and comfort. Alfredo's five children were the apples of his eye, and it was in their laughter and successes that he saw the reflection of a life well-lived.
Not just a family man, Alfredo had a penchant for honing his skills in auto painting, transforming the mundane into art through sheer dedication. Additionally, his love for fishing provided him solace and peace, a time to reflect and connect with nature, casting his line as if casting away the burdens of the day.
As we gather to celebrate Alfredo’s life, we will remember the strength and joy he brought into our lives. His viewing will take place on May 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, followed by the funeral service on May 22, 2025, commencing at 1:00 PM.
Though he has departed from our sight, Alfredo Zapata Esquivel’s spirit will continue to linger in the hearts of five children, ten brothers and two sister and others who loved him fiercely. His laughter, guidance, and love will echo through the lives he touched, forever reminding us of the beauty inherent in resilience, love, and the unwavering bonds of family.
