Alice Mae Davis was born October 28, 1937 to Louise Watts Hunter and Napoleon Thompson in Hubbard, Texas. She grew up in Hubbard and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School. Alice had two beautiful children (Eva and Harold) whom she adored and moved to Fort Worth in 1963. Alice was employed at Miller Brewing Company for over two decades before retiring. In her free time she loved to crochet, travel, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with family and friends. She was very kind, loving, and a giving person to everybody. The Angel of Silence came for her February 3, 2021 in her residence in Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Napoleon Thompson of Hubbard, Texas, mother, Louise Watts Hunter of Hubbard, Texas, sister, Alma Coaster of Fort Worth, Texas, and brother, Richard Thompson of Las Vegas, Nevada. Patiently waiting for that inevitable day when they also must accept a visit from this same Angel and cherish her memory, she leaves: one daughter: Eva Louise Darden (Johnny) of Fort Worth, Texas; one son: William Harold Davis (Sonja) of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren: Mrs. Angelica Nelson (Brandon); Mrs. Tenivia Threet (Douglas), Ms. Nadia Darden, Ms. Alexia Davis; five Great-grandchildren: Ja’Myriah Jackson-Darden, Douglas Threet, Matthew Threet, Nyla Brice, Aiden Nelson; many other relatives and friends.
