Alvin's journey through life was marked by his passion for construction work, where his skills and dedication shone brightly. A proud graduate of the Dallas Independent School District, he carried his education with him into the workforce, leaving a lasting impact on all those he encountered.

Alvin is survived by his loving spouse, Jerutha Pratt Shaw, who shared countless joyful moments by his side. In addition to his devoted spouse Jerutha, Alvin leaves behind a host of children, other relatives, and friends who will cherish the moments they shared with him.

The life of Alvin Lee Shaw will be honored and celebrated at two significant services. The Prayer Service will take place on June 28, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, Texas. Following this, the Funeral Service will be held on June 29, 2024, beginning at 9:00 AM at the same location.
