ALYSIA SHANA WASHINGTON

Alysia Shana Washington, born on September 23, 1988, left this world on June 14, 2026, at the age of 37. Though her years were all too few, the depth of her presence and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her will forever be cherished.

From her very first days, Alysia radiated a special light—one that made ordinary moments shimmer with laughter and love. She approached life with an open heart, reaching out to those in need, carrying hope forward on even the hardest days. Those who knew her remember her gentleness and quiet strength, unfailing kindness, and the way she saw the good in others even when it was hidden from view.

Alysia touched countless lives, not only through her daily acts of thoughtfulness and generosity, but with her steady encouragement and the patient listening ear she always offered. In moments of joy and sorrow, she was a steadfast presence—an unshakeable source of comfort and understanding.

As we reflect on her life, we remember a soul who never stopped showing up for those she loved. She was a friend when friendship was needed most, a comfort when hearts broke, and a celebration when dreams took flight. To honor and remember Alysia, a viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on July 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Her funeral service will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas-ALLENE, on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the same address. Following the service, Alysia will be laid to rest at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051.

Though Alysia Shana Washington’s time with us has ended, the memory of her spirit—tender, hopeful, resilient—will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were touched by her grace. May her legacy inspire continued kindness and remembrance, as we hold close the gift of having known her.
