Born on July 29, 1974, in San Diego, California, Andre was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of many. He was not only a devoted family man but also a distinguished professional, bringing over 28 years of experience in aviation and transportation management to the industry. His work on major aviation programs and heavy civil projects showcased his exemplary work ethic and unwavering dedication.
A proud graduate of San Diego High School in 1992, Andre moved to Atlanta, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering. He thrived in roles that enabled him to make a significant impact, playing pivotal roles in multi-billion dollar projects at some of the nation's most prominent airports. His career was marked by integrity, skill, and an unmatched commitment to perfection.
Beyond his professional achievements, Andre cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. He held dear the laughter shared during family movie nights and the spirited competitions in arcade games that brought joy and connection to his family. An avid sports fan, he passionately supported the Los Angeles Chargers, USC Trojans, and the LA Lakers, bringing excitement to every game day.
Andre's personality radiated warmth and kindness. He was known for always lending a helping hand, no matter the time or place, and he never hesitated to support those around him. His generosity and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife Toya Jones-Kirk, his beloved children Andre and Ayden Kirk, as well as his father Bobby Kirk, Sr., and his sister Angela Kirk. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will continue to share stories of his kind heart and bright spirit.
Andre is preceded in death by his beloved mother Margie Kirk and his brother Bobby Kirk, Jr., both of whom he missed dearly. Their memories will forever be a part of the legacy he leaves behind.
The celebration of Andre's life will begin with a viewing on October 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Following this, a Funeral Service will be held on October 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Andre Lushawn Kirk’s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished always. May he rest in peace, surrounded by love and light.
