Andrew Deuchon Sodie passed away on September 25, 2026, in Iowa Park, Texas, at the age of 69. He was born on October 19, 1956, in Dallas, Texas.

Andrew was a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Texas. He went on to spend his working life driving trucks, a role that reflected his steady nature and strong work ethic.

He will be remembered as an outgoing person who got along with everybody. Andrew had a warm way about him that made it easy for others to feel comfortable in his presence. Above all else, he loved his family, and that love stood as the center of his life and one of the things that mattered most to him.

A memorial service for Andrew Deuchon Sodie will be held on October 11, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S. R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224.

Andrew will be remembered with love by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, his outgoing spirit, and his deep love for family will remain in the hearts of those who remember him.
