Anita Ann McCoy, a beacon of warmth and laughter, passed away on June 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy etched in love and kindness. Born on November 27, 1959, in the heart of Dallas, Texas, Anita embodied the spirit of her birthplace with a vibrant charm that touched all who had the privilege to know her.
From her earliest days, Anita’s life was intertwined with the simple, profound joy of togetherness—cherishing every moment spent in the embrace of family. This deep-seated joy in being around loved ones was a defining thread throughout her life, a constant that brought comfort and happiness both to her and those around her.
Known for her loving nature and unparalleled kindness, Anita’s presence was a welcoming light for friends and strangers alike. She was caring and considerate, ever ready to lend a hand or an ear, but also unafraid to speak her mind with an outspoken honesty that was both refreshing and grounding. Her humor, sharp yet compassionate, could dissolve tension and fill a room with genuine laughter, forging bonds that will endure beyond her earthly days.
As a woman who lived fully and openly, Anita sought to brighten the lives of all she encountered. She was many things: a steadfast friend, a nurturing confidante, and a spirited soul whose kindness was matched only by her vivacity. Her laughter remains a melody, her wisdom a quiet guide.
To honor Anita’s memory, family and friends will gather for a visitation on June 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, 76119.
