ANNIE LOUISE JACKSON

December 16, 1942 — October 29, 2025

Annie Louise Jackson, born on December 16, 1942, in the small town of Jefferson, Texas, passed peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Dallas. She was a woman of gentle grace, whose quiet demeanor belied a spirit that was fiercely proud and deeply loving. Raised in a world where values were cherished, Annie was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1961, a foundation upon which she built a life rich with purpose and dedication.

From the very beginning to the last heartbeat, Annie was defined by her commitment to family. She reveled in the joy of seeing her nieces and nephews grow up—each success a cherished milestone etched into the fabric of her heart. As a proud aunt, her life was intertwined with theirs, a testament to her unwavering support and nurturing spirit. Her proudest accomplishments were not tallied in accolades or titles but in the laughter and love shared with those she held dear.

Annie's interests were as varied as her kind heart was vast. She found delight in the pages of books, immersing herself in stories that transported her to new worlds. A devoted sports enthusiast, she could often be found cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks, her voice rising in harmony with thousands as she shared in the collective thrill of victory and the heartache of defeat. In quieter moments, she embraced the serenity of tennis and Golf, relishing the time spent on the greens while surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Her personality, defined by a sweet and soft-spoken nature, was a balm for many, radiating kindness and respect wherever she went. With a spirit firmly grounded in faith, Annie lived her life according to principles of integrity and compassion, illuminating the paths of those fortunate enough to know her. Each interaction was marked by her unwavering kindness and the gentle wisdom that only years of love and living could impart.

She is preceded in death by parents, Grover and Elisha Crenshaw and sister, Susie Smith.

She is survived by sisters, Dorothy Jones (James) and Doris Waggoner; brothers, Preston Crenshaw (Betty), Larnell Graham and Johnny Crenshaw and a host of nieces and nephews.

As we gather to honor her memory, the community will remember her not just for the milestones of her life, but for the warmth she exuded and the innumerable hearts she touched. Remembrance services will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The wake service is scheduled for November 11, 2025, commencing at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service on November 11 at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to view from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the same day, allowing all who knew and loved her to reminisce and share in the profound love she fostered throughout her life.

While Annie may have departed from our sight, the ripples of her loving kindness remain imprinted on the hearts of her family and friends, a legacy of love and warmth that will carry on for generations to come. In our sorrow, we find solace, knowing that her spirit dances evermore among us, inspiring us to embrace the beauty in each moment, just as she did.
