ANNIE RUTH WATTS

ANNIE RUTH WATTS, born on April 14, 1947, in Homer, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She lived a life full of dedication and commitment, cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.

Annie was a hardworking woman who devoted many years of her career as a retail clerk. She took pride in her work, ultimately retiring from SEARS, where she was known for her diligence and attention to detail. Her professionalism and dedication served as an inspiration to her colleagues and friends.

A proud high school graduate from Mayfield High School, Annie instilled the value of education in everyone around her. She maintained a thirst for knowledge and demonstrated this throughout her life by engaging in conversations that sparked curiosity and learning.

Annie is remembered not only for her professional life but also for the warmth she shared with her family and friends. The legacy she leaves behind will undoubtedly continue to touch the lives of many.

The viewing will be held on June 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A Funeral Service in her honor will take place on June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location, with services concluding at 2:00 PM.
