Born in the springtime of 1973, Anthony’s journey began with the vibrant energy and optimism that would come to define him throughout his days. From his earliest years, he was recognized for a personality that could light up any room—a bright smile always at the ready, and a natural gift for lifting the spirits of those around him with his wit and humor. His laugh was infectious, his stories often punctuated with a mischievous twinkle in his eye and the sort of authenticity that can never be imitated.

Anthony’s formative years came into full bloom at O.D. Wyatt High School, where he graduated with the class of 1991. The friendships he forged there, bound by countless shared memories and mutual admiration, endured long after cap and gown were retired. He remained woven into the fabric of his classmates’ lives, a testament to the strength and sincerity of his connections.

A proud steward of his community, Anthony’s sense of service knew no bounds. His dedication culminated in his leadership as Deputy Mayor Pro Tem, a role he approached with humility, purpose, and unwavering enthusiasm to make life better for those around him. His service was never about recognition, but about giving back—the truest reflection of his generous heart.

Whether tending to the needs of neighbors or reveling in simpler joys, Anthony was a master at cherishing every moment. Gathering loved ones around a sizzling grill, he became legendary for his prowess as a grill master—each meal an invitation to share stories, laughter, and the pleasures of togetherness. And when the day’s work was done, you could find him with his cherished Chevy C10 ’81, sleeves rolled up and hands busy under the hood, always happiest in the midst of a project that combined his mechanical gift with his sense of nostalgia.

As we mourn Anthony’s passing, we gather not only in sadness but in deep gratitude for having known someone so remarkable. His life will be honored at a visitation on July 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. The funeral service will follow on July 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Forest Hill Civic & Convention Center. All who wish to celebrate Anthony’s legacy are welcome to attend and share in remembering a man whose generosity, humor, and enduring spirit will never be forgotten.

Anthony lived life on his own terms: funny, outgoing, and ever the bearer of an irrepressible bright smile. He taught all who knew him the gift of living fully, of loving fiercely, and of creating community wherever he went.
