ANTHONY QUINN MCAFEE

With hearts both heavy and grateful for the time shared, we announce the passing of our beloved ANTHONY QUINN MCAFEE, who departed this life on July 7, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on February 6, 1967, ANTHONY’s journey through this world left a loving and indelible mark on every life he touched.

ANTHONY was a cherished son, preceded in death by his father, OBIE MCAFEE, and his mother, IRENE DEWS- MCAFEE. As a father, brother, grandfather, and friend, ANTHONY embodied a steadfast presence—offering encouragement, unwavering support, and deep affection to those he held close.

His pride and joy shone brightest in his children. He is survived by his daughters, MEKEISHA BRACKENS, AHNIA MCAFEE, ASHLI MCAFEE, ALYCIA MCAFEE, and his son, ARRIOUS MCAFEE. In his role as a father, ANTHONY was a guiding star, teaching compassion, resilience, and joy by example, always present during life’s milestones and challenges.

As a grandfather, ANTHONY’s greatest delight came from watching his granddaughters—AYVA MILES, KEYANNA HAYNES, JIMILYAH NASH, and AALIYAH NASH—grow and thrive. His laughter filled their lives, his wisdom guided their hearts, and his love sustained their spirits.

Family to ANTHONY was a pillar of strength. He leaves behind brothers , ROBERT DEWS, EMMETT DEWS, and ALFRED MCAFEE, and his sisters SHERON DEWS, SHERRY MCAFEE, each bound together by shared history and enduring affection. The family circle also includes many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends, including, all of whom mourn the absence of his warmth, his quick wit, and his ever-present willingness to lend a helping hand.

While we find ourselves overcome by his loss, we take comfort in recalling the kindness, humility, and humor that defined ANTHONY’s life. Whether gathered around a family table or supporting a friend in need, his was a presence that brought joy and reassurance, dignity and compassion. The memories he leaves behind are many, each one a testament to the love and dedication he shared so freely.

His memory will be honored during a Celebration of Life as follows:  the Wake for ANTHONY QUINN MCAFEE, to be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224, on July 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Funeral Service will follow the next day, July 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas-ALLENE, at the same address.

To know ANTHONY QUINN MCAFEE was to experience kindness, laughter, and love in its purest forms. Though our hearts ache, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that endures in those who had the privilege of loving him.
