Anzella Taylor was born in Frankston, Texas to the parents of Jack and Addie Lee Taylor. After the death of her parents, she was reared by Augusta and Fannie Jenkins in Palestine, Texas. They both preceded her in death. Her sister Rose Mary Jones and two brothers Leslie Taylor and Edward Taylor also preceded her in death.
She received her education from Douglas Elementary School, Lincoln Jr. High and graduated from A.M Story High School in Palestine, Texas. She received her B.A. in Social Work from the University of Kansas.
Anzella worked for State Farm, Agent Les Taylor in his insurance office for many years until retired. She attended Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas until her illness prevented her from attending. Anzella loved to cook and would often have friends, family, nieces , and nephews over to her home for holiday dinners. “Aunt Zet” as she was called by her nieces, and nephews, was a great cook and always had a lot of food prepared.
Anzella leaves to cherish her memory, sister Marion Wall; nieces, Regina Hudson, LaVitta Taylor, Graylon Boyd, Angelia Reed and LaSaunda Wall;nephews Vincent Jones, Courtney Reed, Jermaine Wall; great nieces and nephews, Ashanti Taylor-Fuches, Kentorrye Taylor, Kyler Taylor-Gates, Ayanna Taylor, Kenton Taylor, Trenston Taylor, Jacoby Taylor, and Daryl Brown Jr., and a host of relatives and friends.
