With heavy hearts and deep respect, we announce the passing of Ashley Christine Cox. Born on November 25, 1986, Ashley departed from this world on August 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and enduring strength.
Ashley’s life was one marked by her compassion and commitment to those she held dear. Throughout her 39 years, Ashley brought light and warmth to every room she entered, touching the lives of her family and friends with her kindness and sincerity. Her presence was a comfort, her wisdom a guiding hand, and her laughter a source of joy for all who knew her.
Ashley is survived by her devoted sister, Felicia Salazar, whose bond with Ashley was profound and unwavering. Dalia Salazar, whose close connection with Ashley brought mutual support and friendship, also survives her. In their company, Ashley found shared happiness, resilience, and understanding.
Preceding her in death was her beloved mother, Christy Cox, to whom Ashley was dearly devoted. The memory of their relationship and the love they shared continues to be a beacon for the family, illuminating the values and virtues Ashley carried throughout her life.
Friends and family are invited to honor Ashley Christine Cox at the Funeral Service on August 27, 2026, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home–Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas. A Viewing will also be held at the same location on August 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. All who wish to pay their respects and celebrate her life are welcome.
