Through every challenge and triumph, she remained a guiding star whose nurturing nature and stable presence shaped the lives of those she loved. Her legacy is etched deeply in the memories of those who witnessed her devotion and the countless moments spent in her comforting embrace.
To know Barbara was to know the heart of a true hostess, one who found great delight and creativity in cooking and gathering loved ones around her table. Visitation to honor Barbara’s memory will take place on April 10, 2026, from 1 PM until 7 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. Her funeral service will follow the next day, April 11, 2026, at 12 PM in the Freeman Chapel Primitive Baptist, 4911 Wanda Street, Dallas, TX. These gatherings will serve as moments for all who knew her to come together, to remember her radiant smile and the laughter that filled her days.
