BENNIE RAY SLOAN Jr.

Bennie Ray Sloan, Jr, a cherished member of the Dallas community, passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on May 15, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, Bennie’s life was a testament to hard work and dedication. He served proudly as a Warehouse Manager, where his outgoing personality and unwavering work ethic were deeply appreciated by colleagues and friends alike. He was provider.

Bennie was known for his infectious smile and his remarkable ability to bring laughter into the lives of those around him. His comedic spirit made him a beloved figure, and he was always ready to share a joke or a light-hearted story, ensuring that everyone felt welcome and valued in his presence.

Beyond his career, Bennie had a profound love for sports. He was an avid supporter of all the Dallas sports teams, passionately cheering them on through every season. His enthusiasm extended beyond professional sports; he delighted in spending quality time in the game room, engaging in friendly competitions playing cards and dominoes with family and friends.

Bennie’s proudest accomplishment was his family. He valued the bonds forged through love and laughter, and he cherished every moment spent creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

A visitation will be held on October 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Wake Service beginning at 8:30 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The Funeral Service will occur the following day, November 1, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM.
