Born on April 24, 1960, Betty dedicated her life to being a beacon of happiness and a pillar of strength for her family, embodying the true meaning of being family-oriented.

Betty's warmth and kindness touched all those who had the honor of knowing her. The community will come together to celebrate Betty Jean Garrett’s life and legacy at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. A viewing will be held on May 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway. This will be followed by a prayer service at 7:15 PM at the Allene Chapel within the same facility. The funeral service honoring her memory will take place on May 2, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM in the Allene Chapel and concluding at noon.

Betty’s contributions to her loved ones and community have left an indelible impact, and her legacy of love and happiness will live on through those she touched. Her memory will be cherished with deepest love and admiration.
