BETTY JEAN IVY

BETTY JEAN IVY, born April 1, 1940, passed away on June 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by strength and dignity. Throughout her eighty-six years, Ms. Ivy exemplified steadfast perseverance and grace, qualities that touched the lives of those who knew her.

Those wishing to pay their respects to Ms. Ivy will have the opportunity to do so at several commemorative events. Burial services will be held at the SINGING HILLS CEMETERY, located at 6221 University Hills Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75241, on July 18, 2026. A visitation is scheduled for July 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The celebration of her life will take place on July 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at ST. STEPHENS COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1001 Danieldale Road, DeSoto, TX 75115. All services are open to friends, family, and members of the community who wish to honor her memory.
