Life Reflections

Beulah Mae Bryant, the daughter of the late Will and Willie Bea Flagg, was born June 19, 1932 in Wabasso, Florida. She grew up in Fort Pierce, Florida and as a child and young adult worshipped at Greater Faith Temple Church of God under the leadership of Bishop Fred Lafleur.  Where she was later married to Charles Bryant.  In Mother Bryant’s senior years she moved to Texas and worshipped at Greater Love Chapel Church of God in Christ which she loved and served faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Jimmy W Glenn, Sr.

As a single mother, she returned to school and received her GED and a trade as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, which enabled her to provide better for her girls. For over 50 years she worked as a caregiver in the special needs’ communities, in girls group homes, with mentally challenged adults and in senior living facilities.   In 2007, Mother Bryant and her girls opened, and licensed an assisted living facility of their own and care for adults with mental illness.  Mother Bryant had a love and a passion for caring for people. She was a giver of unconditional love to the people in her life.

She was gifted with the ability to elegantly perform recitations of inspirational poetry, which was one of her greatest loves, and the requests for her to perform were many.
