ELDER BILLY WAYNE JEFFERSON

With deep respect and loving remembrance, we mark the passing of BILLY WAYNE JEFFERSON, who departed this life on June 26, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on December 30, 1955, BILLY WAYNE JEFFERSON lived a life defined by faith, dedication, and enduring love for his family, friends, and community.

From his earliest days, BILLY was a Man of God. His passion for sharing spiritual guidance led him to become an ordained minister, a role in which he touched countless lives through preaching the word of God. His unwavering commitment to his faith was evident in every aspect of his life, and he served as an inspiration and spiritual leader to those who knew him.

BILLY’s devotion extended well beyond the pulpit. He cherished his loved ones deeply and was a proud and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. His warmth and steadfast support provided a guiding light to his family, and he found immense joy in their accomplishments and presence.

In addition to his biological family, BILLY held a special place in his heart for his Golden Gate Funeral Home family, regarding them as an integral part of his life. He embraced his role there with the same compassion and dedication that characterized his ministry, bringing comfort and hope to many during times of loss.

BILLY’s legacy is one of kindness, empathy, and steadfast faith. His generous spirit and commitment to service will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

To honor and celebrate his remarkable life, a Wake will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at UNION HOPE INSTITUTIONAL PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH, located at 2217 56th Street, Dallas, TX 75241. The Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. BILLY WAYNE JEFFERSON will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park, 8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, TX 75217, with a burial service at 2:00 PM.

BILLY WAYNE JEFFERSON leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion—a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him. He has finished his race with grace, leaving an indelible mark on his family, friends, and community.
