Outside of his professional life, Blanchard was a man of many interests and talents. He possessed an innate ability to connect with others and radiated warmth and friendliness. An outgoing and people-oriented individual, he never met a stranger. His magnetic personality drew people towards him, and he had a remarkable knack for making everyone feel valued and heard. It seemed that Blanchard knew someone everywhere he went, effortlessly forming connections that lasted a lifetime.

Blanchard found solace and joy in simple pleasures. Working on cars became more than just a hobby; it was a way for him to express himself creatively and find peace amidst the bustle of life. Additionally, he had an innate love for landscaping, allowing him to create beauty from nature's canvas.

Education played an essential role in Blanchard's life, having graduated from Wilmer Hutchison High School in pursuit of knowledge and growth. This strong educational foundation guided him throughout his life, enabling him to navigate various challenges with wisdom and intelligence.

Blanchard will be deeply missed by his mother Beulah B. Henderson, brothers Cleon L. Henderson and Arthur M. Henderson, and sister Rosemary Henderson Love. The memories they shared will be treasured forever, providing solace during this difficult time.

Blanchard joins his late father Blanchard Lee Henderson Sr., brother Albert J. Henderson, Leon R. Henderson, Joseph C. Henderson, and sister Audrey F. Henderson in eternal peace. The bonds they formed in life transcend death, leaving an enduring mark on the hearts of those who loved them.

In addition to his immediate family, Blanchard is survived by his brother Freddie C. Henderson (Tonya), brother David J. Henderson (Bertha Burton), and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
