BOBBIE RUTH SWARN

Bobbie Ruth Swarn, born on April 8, 1943, in Swan, Texas, departed this life on October 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, leaving behind a legacy built on love, hard work, and joy. She touched the lives of many as a devoted security officer, housekeeper for schools and hospitals, and nurse assistant in nursing homes and worked for Tyler Pipe Co, exemplifying her dedication to helping others through her various careers.

Known for her vibrant personality, Bobbie was a very funny individual who had a remarkable ability to connect with people. She was a “people person” who approached life with authenticity—always willing to "shoot from the hip" while maintaining a genuine warmth that brought comfort to those around her. Her hardworking nature was evident in all that she did, whether at work or in her home.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bobbie derived immense pride from her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She took pleasure in cooking and found solace and happiness in music, playing the piano and organ, and sharing her passion for singing.

Her memory will be honored through a Wake Service at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on October 17, 2025, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at North Tenneha Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas, on October 18, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM with burial at Hopewell Cemetery, Tyler, Tx. 

Bobbie Ruth Swarn’s vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to family and community will be deeply missed but will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
