Brenda Fay Johnson (McDonald), on December 6, 1950, in Ennis, Texas, to Johnnie Fae Johnson (Sallie) and Alford McClinton Sr., passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Steve McDonald. A devoted mother, she leaves behind one daughter, Gina Johnson, and an adoring granddaughter, Carmen Montgomery.
Educated in the Dallas Public Schools, Brenda dedicated her professional life to the healthcare field until an illness interrupted her career. She was known for her vibrant spirit and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including dancing, cooking, writing, and solving puzzles, all of which brought her immense joy alongside her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: sisters Patsy Barber, Angel McClinton, Sterman Johnson, and Hazel Wilson.
Brenda's memory will be honored by her five brothers: Kelly Johnson, Ronald Johnson (sister-in-law Oltha Johnson), Reginald Johnson, Keith Johnson, Alford McClinton Jr.; and five sisters: Verda Perry, Cleo Jones, Phyllis Offord, Remona Johnson, and Eree Wilson, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
Brenda's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the bonds of family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
