BRIDGETTE LASHELLE CARTER-ANDERSON

Bridgette Lashelle Carter-Anderson, lovingly known as “Bae Bae,” passed away on August 26, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on January 4, 1964, in Dallas, a city that remained both her beginning and her home.

Bridgette’s life was rooted in the place that first welcomed her into the world. From her birth in Dallas to her passing there, her story remained closely tied to the city she knew so well. She will be remembered by the name so many held dear—Bae Bae—a name that speaks to affection, familiarity, and the closeness she inspired in others.

Her passing leaves behind a deep sense of loss and remembrance in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May her memory continue to bring comfort, reflection, and gratitude for the life she lived.

Bridgette was a very strong person, very energetic person, loving grandmother and mother to many.   She loved to dance, sign, cook and host gatherings. 

Her greatest accomplishment was her family. 

A wake service for Bridgette Lashelle Carter-Anderson will be held on September 4, 2026, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S. R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224. Funeral services will be held on September 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S. R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224.
