CANDICE LAKREE DERRICK

Candice Lakree Derrick, beloved daughter, sister, and friend passed away on June 28, 2024 in her hometown of Dallas, TX. She was born on January 20, 1985, bringing joy and love to all those her.

Candice warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of everyone she met. Her unwavering and compassion were evident in her interactions with others. She had a talent for making people feel seen and heard, comfort in times of need.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her parents, siblings, and relatives. Candice's memory will also be cherished by her many friends whose lives she enriched with her presence.

A viewing service will be held on July 8, 2024, at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, TX, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. The funeral service to celebrate Candice's life will take place the following day on July 9, 2024, at the Church of Christ at Cedar Valley in Lancaster, TX. The service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.

Candice's departure from this world has left a void that can never be filled. While we mourn her loss deeply, let us also celebrate the beautiful soul that she was and the legacy of love and kindness that she leaves behind.

Candice rest in peace knowing that she was cherished and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
