It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Carl Sledge, who left us on April 29, 2026. Born on December 27,1967, Carl's life was marked by the profound love and dedication he held for his family, which remains the guiding light of his legacy.

Carl's journey spanned nearly six decades, during which he touched the hearts of those around him with kindness and unwavering support. He is remembered as a pillar of strength and compassion in the lives of his loved ones, embodying the true spirit of a devoted family man. His presence will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.

The community will gather to honor Carl's memory at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. A visitation will be held on May 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. This time offers an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share memories, and offer condolences.

Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place on May 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas Allene Chapel, located at the same address. This service will reflect upon Carl's life, his contributions, and the enduring impact of his warm and loving nature.
