CAROLYN JEAN HARGROVE FIELDS HARRISON

Carolyn Jean Hargrove Fields Harrison, born on March 19, 1950, gently departed this life on December 9, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy imbued with love, dedication, and an unwavering belief in the power of education.

Carolyn was a dedicated educator who poured her heart into teaching for many years, inspiring and shaping the minds of countless students. Her love for learning was matched only by her passion for sharing knowledge with others—she could often be found teaching arts and crafts, welcoming anyone interested into her creative world. Whether through her dedication to her profession or her genuine interaction with others, Carolyn had an uncanny ability to forge meaningful connections, never meeting a stranger throughout her many endeavors.

A devoted caretaker in every sense, Carolyn opened her home and heart to other children and family members, ensuring that they felt loved and supported. Her caring nature was complemented by her stylish persona; she took pride in her appearance and believed that one’s presence spoke volumes. Carolyn's joyful spirit made her a cherished member of her community, where both her biological family and her church family found solace and companionship in her kindness.

Carolyn's passions extended beyond teaching; she cherished traveling and embracing new adventures, filling her life with rich experiences. Her outgoing personality and business-oriented mindset allowed her to thrive in various aspects of her life. The Funeral Service for Carolyn will be held on December 20, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Norlina, North Carolina, starting at 1:00 PM
