With profound sadness and a heart full of remembrance, we honor the life of Carrie Cee Chandler, who peacefully passed away on March 14, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on May 19, 1955, in Dallas, Carrie lived a life rich with purpose and devotion, leaving behind a legacy that touched countless hearts.
Carrie was a woman of unwavering righteousness, a beacon of encouragement and care to all who knew her. Deeply rooted in her faith, she devoted much of her time to hosting training classes on the Bible, sharing her passion and wisdom with a generous spirit. Her dedication to spiritual growth was a cornerstone of her life, inspiring those around her to walk paths of hope and truth.
A lover of simple joys, Carrie found delight in the stirring melodies of gospel music and the quiet solace of reading. Her home was often filled with the harmonious sounds that nurtured her soul. Among those who loved her, she became famous for her peanut butter cake, a cherished recipe she eventually shared, offering a sweet taste of her warmth and generosity.
Yet, above all her accomplishments and talents, Carrie’s proudest joy was her family. It was within their embrace that she found her greatest fulfillment, nurturing bonds of love and support that will forever carry her spirit forward.
As we prepare to celebrate her life and legacy, we invite family and friends to come together in prayer and remembrance. A wake service will be held on March 29, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The following day, a funeral service will honor Carrie’s memory on March 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM at the same location.
In saying goodbye to Carrie Cee Chandler, we hold tightly to the lessons she imparted—of care, courage, righteousness, and faith. She leaves behind a world made brighter by her presence, one where her spirit will live on in every encouraging word, in every note of gospel song, and in every loving gesture she inspired.
May those who cherish her find comfort in the embrace of shared memories and the knowledge that her legacy of love endures. Rest in peace, dear Carrie; your journey on earth may have ended, but your light forever shines in our hearts.
