Carzie M. Woods, a beloved individual known for her warmth and humor, passed away on August 17, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 81. Born on December 28, 1942, in Deberry, Texas, Carzie brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Carzie dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career as a Surgical Technician at Parkland Hospital, where she was admired for her skill and commitment. Her professionalism and expertise in the medical field were matched only by her genuine concern for the well-being of her patients and their families.
A woman of many interests, Carzie found joy in going to the casino, where her playful spirit shined brightly. Her personality was characterized by a vibrant sense of humor that left an unforgettable impression on everyone she encountered. She knew how to light up a room and bring laughter to even the simplest of gatherings.
Among her proudest accomplishments was her devotion to her family. Carzie took great pride in the relationships she cultivated and the love she shared with those closest to her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she savored every moment spent with them.
Friends and family are invited to gather in Carzie’s memory. A Prayer Service will be held on August 29, 2024, beginning at 7:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a Funeral Service on August 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Christ Mission Baptist Church, located at 2607 52nd Street, Dallas, TX 75216.
