Celestine Sirles was a radiant soul who went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Born on January 11, 1950, in Bastrop, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Charlesetta Sirles and Earlie Holley. From an early age, Celestine embraced her faith, accepting Christ under the guidance of Rev. Lott, which would be a steadfast anchor in her life.
After moving to Irving, Texas, Celestine pursued her education through the Irving Independent School District. Her deep love for children led her to a fulfilling career as a private daycare worker, where she dedicated over 25 years to nurturing and shaping young lives.
Celestine experienced both joy and sorrow in her journey. She was blessed with a son, Henry Allure Sirles, whose precious time with her was too brief. He was called home to be with the Lord at just five years old, a loss that she faced with grace and strength.
In her later years, Celestine found companionship in Otis Davis, and they shared two decades of love before his passing.
Until her own peaceful transition to the Lord, she lived with her brother, Steven McKinsey, in Irving, Texas. Steven remained by her side, providing support and comfort.
Celestine leaves behind cherished memories and a loving legacy, held dear by her brother, Steven; her aunt, Mary Sirles; along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever remember her warmth and caring spirit. As we celebrate her life, we take comfort in the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts.
