With great respect and deepest sympathy, we announce the passing of CHANDRA ELISE SMITH, who departed this life on July 8, 2026, in Ft. Worth, Texas, at the age of 62. Born on April 21, 1964, CHANDRA Elise Smith’s life was marked by a quiet dignity and steadfast presence that touched all who knew her.
CHANDRA’s journey began in 1964, a year that ushered in warmth and promise. Throughout her years, she grew to exemplify resilience, grace, and compassion. Those who had the privilege of knowing her recall her unwavering integrity, kindness, and the genuine care she extended to family, friends, and everyone she encountered. Her life stands as a testament to the strength found in gentleness and the enduring impact of a generous spirit.
She was a member of the flag core in the band for both High School and College.
She was an amazing cook. She lead the Youth in her church.
Her presence enriched the lives of many in Ft. Worth and beyond. Whether through quiet support or heartfelt encouragement, CHANDRA left an indelible mark on her community. The lessons she imparted and the goodness she radiated will not be forgotten.

A viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home – Ft. Worth, 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119, on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m followed by a visitation at West Vickery Church of Christ. A funeral service in her memory will take place at West Vickery Church of Christ, 4901 Bourine Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by visitation at the same location from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. On Monday, July 20, 2026, a burial will be held at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Highway 1187, Mansfield, TX 76063, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
Though CHANDRA Elise Smith’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love, wisdom, and kindness she shared with others endure as her lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
