CHARLES EARL PITTS
December 15, 1961 – May 23, 2026
With profound sorrow and a heart filled with treasured memories, we bid farewell to Charles Earl Pitts, a devoted husband, father, minister, and friend whose gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched countless lives. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Charles carried the essence of his beloved city within him until his peaceful passing in Dallas on May 23, 2026.
Educated at L G Pinkston, Charles embarked on a career marked by dedication and sincerity in his role with Hiland Dairy Route Sales. Yet, it was beyond his professional achievements that his true legacy blossomed—a true servant of the Lord, who found his greatest joy and purpose in ministry and family.
Known for his reserved nature, Charles possessed a quiet strength that framed his care and compassion. Those fortunate enough to know him remember a man who was funny, friendly, dependable, and profoundly observant. His trustworthiness was a bedrock in the lives of those around him, and his role as provider was undertaken with humble grace. His heart beat strongest in service: a fervent outreach ministry journeyed through door-to-door witness, feeding families in need, orchestrating Christmas giving and Thanksgiving dinners, and consistently uplifting others through prayer ministry and street services. Evangelizing was not just an act, but a calling he embraced with fervent passion.
Charles’s spirit thrived in simple pleasures—fishing, traveling, and embracing the outdoors. He cherished texting prayers, a modern expression of his enduring faith, and nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Evenings out to eat were treasured moments, occasions for laughter and connection that he held dear.
He was a man proud of his highest accomplishments: becoming a minister, being a nurturing father, and most profoundly, introducing others—particularly his own family—to the transformative love of Christ.
Charles leaves behind a loving circle of loved ones who carried his legacy forward: his devoted wife, Natalie Pitts; his beloved children Keisha Allen, Monica Harris, Joshua Pitts, Jasmine Pitts, Brittian Pitts, Mayia Pitts, and Jeremiah Pitts; his cherished mother, Roberta Webber; his siblings Vickie Pitts and Johnny Pitts, Marilyn , Rene, Zeebree Murrell, Roddy and Myron ; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever carry his warmth in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Charles Canady; his son, Charles Isaiah Pitts; brothers Robert Earl Pitts, Michael Pitts, and Dewayne Pitts; and his adored grandparents, Lucille and Leo Pitts.
The community is invited to honor Charles’s life at the viewing on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on June 3, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM at Bethlehem Pentecostal Church, 1826 Bickers Street, Dallas, TX 75212.
In remembering Charles Earl Pitts, we contemplate a life of quiet dignity and joyful service—a true testament to faith lived boldly and love given freely. His footprint upon this world remains indelible, a resonant call to walk humbly and serve wholeheartedly. May his soul rest in eternal peace, embraced forever by the grace he so faithfully mirrored here on earth.
