CHELSEA DEANNA MAYFIELD

June 4, 1992 — January 23, 2024

Chelsea Deanna Mayfield, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 23, 2024, in her hometown of Dallas, TX. Born on June 4, 1992, in Dallas, Chelsea brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around her.

Chelsea's career was varied and dynamic. She worked at Whataburger, FedEx, and Amazon. Her dedication and strong work ethic were admired by her colleagues. Chelsea approached each job with enthusiasm and a bright smile which made her an absolute pleasure to work with.

One of Chelsea's many remarkable qualities was her love for making other people laugh. She had an incredible sense of humor that could light up any room she walked into. Chelsea was always the life of the party and loved to clown around. Her talent as a comedian was unmatched, and her jokes brought tears of joy to those fortunate enough to hear them.

Chelsea's education journey began at Carpenter Elementary School before she continued on to Garrison High School. It was during her high school years that she achieved one of her proudest accomplishments. Chelsea graduated with flying colors, and her favorite teacher recognized her hard work by presenting her with a prestigious award.

Following high school, Chelsea pursued her passion for beauty at Vatterot Beauty School. It was there that she honed her skills in makeup and hair styling - two areas in which she excelled. Her creativity and eye for detail were evident in every makeover she performed.

Outside of work and school, Chelsea enjoyed indulging in various hobbies and interests. She had a deep appreciation for technology and stayed up-to-date with the latest gadgets and advancements. In addition, Chelsea found immense joy in expressing herself through makeup artistry and hairstyling. Whether it was experimenting with new looks or helping others enhance their natural beauty, Chelsea's talent shone through.

When not immersed in technology or beauty pursuits, Chelsea loved exploring different cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie. Trying new dishes and experiencing diverse culinary delights brought her great pleasure. Additionally, she had a deep passion for cinema and spent countless hours watching movies that ranged from thought-provoking dramas to light-hearted comedies.

Chelsea's viewing will be held on February 2, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, TX from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, providing family and friends with an opportunity to pay their respects and honor the vibrant life she lived.

Chelsea leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Stephanie Gipson, and father, Richard D. Mayfield. Chelsea also leaves behind two sister, Kirsten Mayfield and Brittney Williams. Her grandmother, June Gipson, held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her immediate family, Chelsea is survived by six uncles: Randolph Mayfield, Calvin Mayfield, Kenneth Mayfield, Christopher Mayfield, Tom Gipson Jr., and Michael Gipson. Three loving aunts also mourn her loss: Ida Neal, Elizabeth Harris, and Diana Hughes. The circle of grief extends further to include a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives who were fortunate to know Chelsea.

While Chelsea's passing has left an indelible void in the lives of those who knew and loved her most dearly, we find solace in the joyful memories she gifted us during her time among us.
