Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cloatee (Jackson) Huckaby, who departed this life peacefully on September 12, 2015, surrounded by her loving, devoted family.
Cloatee was born on October 16, 1942, in Lubbock, Texas, the second oldest of six children born to Sam Jackson and Betty (Scody) Wilson.
Throughout her life, mom exemplified strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family. A hardworking mother, she consistently ensured that her children and grandchildren were provided for, protected, and deeply
loved. Her steadfast commitment to her family and her fierce, nurturing spirit will remain an enduring part of her legacy.
We give thanks to Almighty God for the precious years He allowed us to share with her. Though she is no longer with us in earthly form, we find comfort in knowing she now rests safely in His presence, free from pain and embraced by divine peace. Father, we ask that You let her know that she is cherished beyond measure and missed each and every day.
Cloatee leaves behind a legacy of love that continues to grow
Daughters: Renea (Ruben) Surles, Vanessa Johnson (deceased), Yolanda (Johnny) Westmoreland
Sons: Robert E. (Joanna) Anderson, Clifford J. (Gia) Anderson

We take comfort in knowing that God shelters us, strengthens us, and walks beside us
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.
The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid
MOM! WE LOVE AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH
