CORINE COLEMAN

Corine Coleman (Blaylock) was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who passed away at her home on December 16, 2023. She was born on April 21, 1938, in Winnsboro, LA.

Corine's warm and welcoming nature left an everlasting impact on everyone she encountered. Known for her genuine love and care for others, she had an extraordinary ability to make anyone feel valued and cherished. Corine's kind heart touched the lives of many people throughout her journey.

One of Corine's enduring passions was her unwavering devotion to her family. Her beloved husband Jewel Coleman and their son Christian Coleman (Dorothy) preceeded her in death. Corine regarded them as the greatest blessings in her life and dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.

Beyond the immediate family, Corine formed and cherished bonds with a wide circle of relatives and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives. She leaves to cherish her memories her children:  Marilyn Sipert (Michael), Cedric Coleman (Alice), Derrick Coleman (Debbi), Donnie Ray Coleman (Dowanna), Carlton Ray Coleman (Betty),                   Michael Coleman (Paula), LaDetric Coleman (Andrea), Shirhonda Smith (Gene).  24 grandkids, 56 great-grand kids and 13 great great-grand kids are among those who were fortunate enough to experience Corine's love and affection firsthand.

In addition to being a lovingly supportive wife and mother, Corine embraced the role of grandmother with great joy. Her adoration for her grandchildren knew no bounds. With endless patience and kindness, she nurtured them and imparted invaluable wisdom that will guide them throughout their lives. The laughter and joy shared between grandmother and grandchildren created beautiful memories that will be treasured forever.

Corine had a strong faith in the Lord which served as a guiding light throughout her life. She found solace in prayer and drew immense strength from her relationship with God. Her unwavering belief in His love was not limited to her personal spiritual journey; it also shaped the way she interacted with others. Corine's faith was a source of comfort, inspiration, and hope for those who knew her.

When Corine wasn't tending to her family or engaging in various everyday activities, she found immense joy in cooking. Her culinary skills were renowned among her loved ones, who eagerly anticipated the delicious meals she prepared with love and care. Each dish was a reflection of her warm spirit and served as a tangible expression of her affection.

A visitation will be held to honor Corine's memory on December 22, 2023, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX, 75224. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and share their cherished memories of Corine.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow the next day December 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Corner Stone Baptist Church located at 1819 Martin Luther King Blvd.  Please come to celebrate her remarkable journey filled with love, warmth, and compassion.

Corine Coleman's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. Her unconditional love and vibrant spirit continue to inspire all who hold her dear.
