Curtis was born on June 07, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas to Edward & Lillian Minneweather, who preceded him in death. Curtis graduated from Terrell High School in 1967 where he was a part of their ROTC program, where he received the rank of Major. Curtis was enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972, where he was an active firefighter and honorably discharged at that rank of Sergeant.
Curtis accepted the Lord at the age of 12, while a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Curtis has Pastored throughout Texas and Mississippi. He was Pastor of Christian Communication Center Ministries, which was centered around the great commission, and a street ministry was formed. In January 2010, He was affirmed as an Apostle AND continued to praise, worship, and serve the Lord until his final day.
Curtis passed away October 09, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. Curtis will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife, siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, in-laws and a host of relatives and friends.
Curtis, is survived by his wife of 16 years, Valerie Minneweather, daughters: Blythe Minneweather, Courtney Wallace, Daneka Jordon (Bernard), Tonnette (Jimmy) Black, Jacqueline (Jerome) Smith-Tyrell, Zabrina Christian, Tamara (Tony) Okolie, Victoria and Lucille Minneweather, Sons: Nicholas Ratliff, Christopher Christian and Lance Minneweather, grandchildren: Amari Ary, Cadence Minneweather, Erin and Ethan Wallace, Gwontario Gooch, Chantellia, DeAnthony and Antreal Horton, Brianna Cavitt, Jaelyn Wilson, Nicholas Ratliff Jr., Lyriq and Kahlil Ratliff, Malachi Smith, Taylor and Jadon Black, Nichayla Giles and Jerome Tyrell Jr., a great-granddaughter: Graisyn Gooch, sister, Denita Watkins and brother, Edward Minneweather II, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
