DAISY HUNTER, born on December 1, 1941, peacefully departed this life on June 26, 2026. Throughout her 84 years, Daisy was a beacon of warmth, faith, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and community.
A woman known for her quiet strength and grace, Daisy carried herself with the poised presence of a true diva. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life—her kitchen often filled with the aroma of her famous potato salad and savory dressing, recipes beloved by generations of those fortunate enough to gather around her table. Daisy’s home, filled with laughter and love, was a haven and meeting place for family children, a testament to her nurturing spirit and the sense of belonging she fostered.
Daisy’s love of old school music could often be felt in the rhythm of daily life within her home, and she found deep happiness in shopping excursions that brought her much delight. But beyond these favorite pursuits, she remained grounded by her steadfast faith. A devoted member of the Bexar St Missionary Baptist Church, Daisy lived as a woman of God and served her congregation with humility and commitment. Her faith was evident to all who knew her, woven seamlessly into the fabric of her everyday life.
As a sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and faithful church member, Daisy leaves behind a legacy of kindness and hospitality. Her gentle spirit, joyful heart, and the loving gatherings she so often hosted will forever echo in the memories of those who shared in her life.
