Yet, the place she was happiest was often at home, surrounded by family. Perhaps nowhere was her joy more vivid than in the pool spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Their laughter mingled with hers, making memories that will echo for generations. Those closest to her will fondly recall the way her grandchildren gave her the special nickname “Darwne,” a sweet reminder of the special bond they shared.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Darlene are invited to honor her memory at a visitation on August 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home - Ft. Worth, located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119. A funeral service will follow on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location.
