Darryl LaDon Hilliard, born on October 28, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, left this world too soon on May 25, 2025, also in Fort Worth. He was a vibrant soul, known for his outgoing personality and ability to connect with anyone he met. Darryl never met a stranger; his warmth and charm were gifts he readily shared with all.
As a devoted sports fan, he was particularly known for his unwavering support of the Dallas Cowboys. His passion for the team was a cherished part of his identity, and he reveled in the camaraderie that came with being a dedicated fan.
Darryl's family will remember him fondly. He is survived by his beloved daughter, LaKeisha Williams, and one grandson Timothy Benson, who carries forward his legacy of enthusiasm and kindness. He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Darryl's passing also reunites him with loved ones who preceded him. He is now at rest with his parents, George Hilliard and Berdie Hilliard, as well as his brothers, James Simpson and Gary Simpson. The bond they shared in life continues in spirit.
