It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Darryl E. Searl Sr., who departed this life on March 31, 2026, in Quinlan, Texas. Born on November 6, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, Darryl's life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, a passion for his work, and a spirit defined by strength and generosity.

Darryl was a consummate professional, working as a computer technician and entrepreneur, where his love for technology and computers shone brightly. His technical expertise was matched only by his innate drive and confidence. He approached his career with the same seriousness and strong-minded determination that characterized every aspect of his life.

Known for his outgoing and outspoken nature, Darryl held strong convictions and expressed them with clarity and sincerity. While he could be stern and serious when the moment called for it, those closest to him knew him as a deeply caring and loving individual—a devoted "mama’s boy" whose pride and joy always centered around his family. Spending quality time with his loved ones was one of his greatest pleasures, alongside enjoying the simple pastime of shooting BB guns.

Darryl’s generosity knew no bounds. He gave of himself freely, nurturing and supporting those around him without hesitation. In all that he accomplished, he remained firmly family-oriented, with his proudest achievement being his family itself—an enduring legacy filled with love and respect.

Family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know Darryl are invited to honor his memory during the visitation on April 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The Funeral Service will follow on April 23, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location.
