DARYLL KEITH MCCULLAR

Daryll Keith McCullar, born August 4, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2026, in his hometown of Dallas. Known for his gentle demeanor, kindness, and steady temperament, Daryll lived a life marked by devotion to his family, faith, and work.

A proud graduate of South Oak Cliff High School in 1984, Daryll pursued his passion for truck driving by attending Truck Driving School after graduation. He spent over two decades behind the wheel, driving trucks and demonstrating exceptional dedication to his profession. His commitment to his career was evident, reflecting not only his strong work ethic but also his reliability and sense of responsibility.

More than a career man, Daryll was a man of faith. In 2020, he gave his life to Christ and became an active member of Doing A New Thing Bible Fellowship. His spiritual journey was a cornerstone of his life, influencing his values and his interactions with those around him. He deeply loved the Lord and found solace and joy in reading the Bible regularly.

Daryll's interests extended beyond his faith and work. He enjoyed playing dominoes, listening to jazz music, and was an avid lover of cars, particularly models such as the 2802X, 3002X, and Corvettes. These hobbies brought him pleasure and connected him to his community and friends.

He is survived by the love of his life, S. Diane Henderson; his daughters, Davondra Kelley and Dee; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Daryll is also survived by his sister, Tanya McCullar, and his brother, Gregory McCullar, who cherish his memory.

Daryll was preceded in death by his parents, Willie McCullar and Mary McCullar, and two sisters, Charlotte McCullar and Sheryl McCullar.

Family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing Daryll may pay their respects and celebrate his life during the viewing on March 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will follow on March 14, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene).

Daryll Keith McCullar’s legacy is one of faith, family, and quiet strength. His kindness and love will continue to inspire those who knew him.
