DESIRAYE GOMEZ

Desiraye Alexis Gomez was born in Dallas, TX to Iracema Gomez on May 3, 2001. As a young girl, Dessy took a special loving to all of earth’s animals and little ones. She later took that love into her pre-teen years where she volunteered at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church CDC for several years. In 2019, she graduated from Lake Highlands High School and shortly after became an infant teacher at LHPC-CDC. Desiraye had the loving touch that would calm and child that entered the school. After completing many dedicated years at LHPC-CDC, she moved on to her next chapter in life and became employed at The Modern Tot in March 2021 as an infant teacher. Dessy was elated that she was able to continue to teach and spread her love to many more precious children. Her desire to provide genuine care for all God’s children will be deeply missed. Desiraye had a creative heart, she taught everyone to enjoy the beauty in life as she did through her paintings and artwork. Desiray Gomez was and will forever be an inspiration to all who knew her. Dessy had the purest of hearts, she was a true giver. Everywhere she went she left a little love in everyone’s hearts and now its time to leave a little love with her as we say our final goodbyes to our sweet Dessy.

She leaves to cherish her precious moments to her devoted mother: Iracema Gomez; her loving sister: Destiney Gomez; adoring brother: Devin Gomez and her beloved fur baby Cookie Gomez; uncles: Fernando Gomez (Lexi), Jesse Hernandez, Pedro Galvan; aunts Sandra Galvan, Arlen Vera (Amber C.), Olivia Ruiz, Bertha Hernandez, Rosa E. Hernandez; cousins: Jasline, Ruis, Jasmine, Luis, Keshaud, Dominic, Manuel, Jessica, Junior, Isaac, Alexa, J Anthony,  Annalissa, Kaitlyn, Karen, Kristen; and a host of relatives and friends.
