DESSELLE JONES

Desselle T. Jones was born February 16, 1962 in New Orleans, LA to Betty Anthony and Cornelius Scott. She peacefully departed on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Desselle was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School and Delgado Community College of New Orleans, LA. She attended The Potter’s House Church. She worked as a software engineer for her own business, Helping to Prosper.

Desselle is preceded in death by her father, Cornelius Scott, and her brother, Mark Jones.

She is survived by: her mother, Betty Anthony;  two sons, Morris Jones and John Jones; three grandkids, Morris Jones, Malik Jones and Dan’Querrius Jones; daughter-in-law, Nasiya Jones; eight siblings, Jennifer Ellis, Robert Jones, Valarie Esteen, Charamine Doyles, Andrea Hankton, Arthemise Lindsey, Crandall Jones, and Shawn Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
