Dollye Ruth Starr Thomas, born on November 6, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully in her hometown on June 15, 2025. She was 82 years old. Dollye’s life was a testament to the values she held dear: love, kindness, and straightforwardness. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Dollye’s remarkable life. A viewing will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, TX, on June 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Following this, her memorial funeral service will take place at the Historic Allen AME Church, also in Fort Worth, on June 28, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at noon.
