It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald R. Williams, who departed this life on May 19, 2026. Born on August 4, 1949, Mr. Williams was a man whose loving nature, caring spirit, and joyful disposition touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a devoted family-oriented individual whose happiness and warmth were a beacon to his community.
Donald’s final days were marked by the affection and regard of those closest to him. As we remember his character—marked by unconditional love and kindness—it is evident how deeply he valued the bonds of family and friendship.
The arrangements to honor the memory of Donald R. Williams are as follows:
A viewing will be held on May 29, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, a prayer service will take place at 7:15 p.m. in the Allene Chapel at the same location, ending at 8:15 p.m.
On May 30, 2026, a funeral service will be conducted at New Generation Baptist Church, 8816 S Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75241. The service will commence at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at noon, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together in respectful remembrance.
The interment will occur on June 3, 2026, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. The burial service will begin at 10:15 a.m. and conclude by 11:15 a.m.
Though Donald R. Williams is no longer with us, his loving and caring nature leaves a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all who were privileged to know him. As we gather to honor his memory, we reflect on a life lived with happiness and dedication to family—an enduring testament to a truly remarkable man.
