Dwight dedicated many years of his career as a Supervisor at CVS Pharmacy, where he was not only respected for his work but also adored for his engaging personality. Known for his sarcasm and wit, he was a vibrant soul, full of life, whose laughter echoed through the halls and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His ability to find humor in everyday situations and to share his warmth and kindness made him a cherished figure in the lives of his loved ones.
His educational journey culminated in earning an Associate's Degree, which laid the groundwork for his commendable career. Dwight's commitment to both his work and his family was unwavering, embodying the spirit of dedication and love.
An avid golfer, Dwight found immense joy in the sport, regularly participating in tournaments and cherishing the camaraderie that came with each swing of the club. His passion for golfing was just one of the many ways he connected with others, making lifelong friends along the way.
Dwight's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his beloved spouse, Lori Carey, as well as his children, Danielle Carey and Deandre Carey, and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life; and his only sister Shelia Hawkins. The viewing for Dwight will take place on February 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, followed by a wake service starting at 7:15 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the remarkable life of a man who will be remembered not only for his witty personality but also for the enduring memories and love he created throughout his years.
