EALY JOE CARTER

Mr. Ealy Joe Carter was born October 17, 1939 in Freestone County, Texas to the parentage of the late Mr. Eddie Lee Carter and Ina Mae Turner Carter. He attended Dunbar High School in Oakwood, Texas. He accepted Christ at Rocky Mount Baptist Church. He drove trucks in his early years and later in life became a Taxi Driver until his health failed.

 He is preceded in death by eight brothers, Clois R. Carter Sr, Bobby J. Carter, Clifton W. Carter, Bobbie A. Carter, Billy E. Carter, Karl F. Carter, Michrel L. Carter and Clifford E. Carter; one sister, Eddie Jean Kirven and one daughter, Carolyn Brown.

 He leaves to cherish his love and memories: one son, Gerald W. Carter; daughter, Angela Renee Buchanan (Alfonza) of Dallas, TX; one brother, Otis E. Carter (Peggy) of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Patricia J. Colbert (Earnest) of Oakwood, TX and Peggy Kemp of Humble, TX; a special friend, Lolly Jeffery of Dallas, TX; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
